ABOUT LEGACY CONSERVATION


  Legacy Conservation has been created and developed by Siobhan Stevenson ACR, a highly respected and professionally accredited conservator. Siobhan is an established conservation manager, heritage professional and conservation trainer with more that 30 years' experience. Formerly Head of  Collections Care at National Museums Northern Ireland and Chair of the Institute of Conservation, she is also a Registered PRINCE 2 Practitioner. Siobhan led and developed the first MSc in Collections Care in the UK, based at Cardiff University. She has a diverse background in care of collections, museum and private conservation practice, cultural policy, business planning and strategic development.

Siobhan has established Legacy Conservation to provide a wide range of consultancy and project management for collection care, collection storage and objects conservation. She specialises in environmental monitoring and control for museums and can provide extensive support and guidance for cultural organisations or individuals wishing to improve the standards of care for their collections.

Based at her country home in County Down, Northern Ireland, Siobhan routinely travels to all parts of the UK and Ireland, as well as further afield.
