Legacy Conservation is working with the National Trust for Scotland to ensure that the collections and historic interior of the Canna House is protected during restoration works.
The Project
Legacy Conservation has carried out an assessment of the collections care, storage and logistical issues for the relocation of collections while building works take place. The Island presents some complex logistical issues and many of the collections are fragile or have specific care needs. We continue to work with National Trust for Scotland to develop detailed plans for the collections packing, relocation and storage and to integrated the conservation and care elements of the project with the proposed building works. Legacy Conservation is providing a full collections project management service.
